Martin Andersen
MSc, PhD DTU Denmark Senior Lecturer, Water Research Laboratory, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering Research Interests Dr Andersen is currently investigating groundwater-surface interactions in the Namoi area as part of the Cotton CRC project. His is experienced in the specialist fields of hydrogeology, geochemistry, geophysics, and hydrogeochemical modelling. In particular, he has extensive experience in the geochemical processes related to seawater intrusion and submarine groundwater discharge, including density dependent flow and transport. Research and development interests are focused on estuarine and coastal environments including restoration of tidal wetlands, remediation of acid-sulphate soil impacted coastal areas, boat wake waves, and contaminant transport.
